Raffle Rules and Regulations

  • The Pot of Gold Lotto 50/50 is a 50/50 raffle with ticket sales beginning on March 1, 2022, from 12:00 am to midnight on March 31, 2022, MST.

  • Tickets can only be purchased online through the www.PotOfGoldLotto.ca website.

  • The winner of the Pot of Gold Lotto 50/50 can win 50% of ticket sales up to $1,000,000, but the total prize is based on the number of tickets sold.

  • Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket and the name of a minor must not be on the ticket. Tickets may only be purchased or sold in Alberta.

  • Tickets available for sale are: 1

  • 1 ticket for $5 (5,000 available

  • 60 tickets for $20 (10,000 (available) X 60 = 600,000

  • 200 tickets for $50 (20,000 (available) X 200 = 4,000,000

  • 500 tickets for $100 (7,750 (available) X 500 = 3,875,000

  • No refunds are available.

  • If more than one name is on the winning ticket stub, the prize will be awarded to the name of the individual that is listed first. The licensee, Stride Management and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise among individuals who are listed on the ticket.

  • Employees, Board Members and volunteers of the Kidney Foundation, their family and friends are eligible to purchase tickets. Staff of Stride Management and their immediate family members are prohibited from purchasing tickets.

  • Two early bird prizes will be drawn on the following dates:
    1) Early Bird #1 Winner will win $500
    2) Early Bird #2 Winner will win $1,000

  • The cut-off for the Early Bird #1 will be midnight on March 9, 2022, to be eligible to win.

  • The winning Early Bird #1 ticket will be drawn on March 10, 2022, at 11:00 am MST by Random Number Generator (RNG) at The Kidney Foundation, Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch, #202 11227 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5.

  • The Early Bird #1 winner will be notified by The Kidney Foundation Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch via email following the draw on March 10, 2022, and will be called on March 11, 2022.

  • The cut-off for the Early Bird #2 will be midnight on March 23, 2022 to be eligible to win.

  • The winning Early Bird #2 ticket will be drawn on March 24, 2022 at 11:00 am MST by Random Number Generator (RNG) at The Kidney Foundation, Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch, #202 11227 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5.

  • The Early Bird #2 winner will be notified by The Kidney Foundation Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch via email following the draw on March 24, 2022 and will be called on March 25, 2022.

  • Early Bird #1 Winner will be eligible to also win the Early Bird #2 prize.

  • Both early bird winning numbers will be eligible to win the main 50/50 prize.

  • The winning ticket will be drawn on April 1, 2022 at 11:00 am MST by Random Number Generator (RNG) at The Kidney Foundation, Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch, #202 11227 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5.

  • The winner will be notified by The Kidney Foundation Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch via email following the draw on April 1, 2022 and will be called on April 2, 2022.

  • Files are continuously backed up by STRIDE Management Corp. in the unexpected event of a power failure. In the event of a power failure the draw will be postponed and take place immediately once power has been restored.

  • The prizes must be claimed within 90 days of receiving notification of holding the winning ticket.

  • If the prizes are not claimed within 90 days of notification, The Kidney Foundation Northern Alberta and The Territories Branch will retain all proceeds with AGLC approval.

  • The prize payment will be in the form of a cheque.

  • The ticket number and name of the winner will be published on www.PotOfGoldLotto.ca and www.kidney.ca/nabt as well as on The Kidney Foundation Northern Alberta and The Territories social media platforms and E-Newsletter.
